The Translational Centre for Regenerative Medicine (TRM) Leipzig was founded in October 2006 to efficiently translate research results of the field of regenerative medicine into clinical application. The centre supports young research groups, who develop products and procedures for diagnostic and therapeutic use and bring them into clinical application. The centre was founded with grants from the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, the Free State of Saxony and the Universität Leipzig.
