Hamamatsu Corporation is the North American subsidiary of Hamamatsu Photonics K.K. (Japan), a leading manufacturer of devices for the generation and measurement of infrared, visible, and ultraviolet light. These devices include photodiodes, photomultiplier tubes, scientific light sources, infrared detectors, photoconductive detectors, and image sensors. We are exhibiting a Micro-PMT (uPMT), which is the world's first ultracompact, next-generation PMT. It offers the same detector characteristics as conventional PMTs but with a much thinner and lighter package. It makes it possible to explore and create new applications such as portable and disposable units for point-of care testing and environmental testing.
