microfluidic ChipShop GmbH develops and manufactures both lab-on-a-chip components and microfluidic instrument-chip systems. From prototype to volume production, microfluidic ChipShop offers self-developed off-the shelf lab-on-a-chip standard products as well as customized solutions. microfluidic ChipShop covers the entire value- and technology-chain, from the design of the microstructures to biochemical functionalization of surfaces and reagent storage on-chip. In addition, microfluidic ChipShop's own application department supports customers in the miniaturization of their biological and diagnostic tasks, e.g., in the transfer of biological assays onto a chip, including the selection of suitable materials and protocol adaptation.

Examples of our catalogue-based off-the-shelf products include our expanding range of ChipGenie® edition instrument and chip systems, e.g., for PCR in a continuous flow (ChipGenie® edition T), for chip-based capillary electrophoresis (edition E), and for sample preparation via magnetic beads (edition P). To implement these highly complex projects, microfluidic ChipShop just opened its own, purpose-build development and production facilities and maintains a world-wide network of research and development collaborations. microfluidic ChipShop is certified according to DIN:EN:ISO 9001 and DIN:ISO 13485 since 2003.
