Frankfurt Airport Long-distance Train Station (Frankfurt Flughafen Fernbahnhof), linked to Terminal 1 by a connecting corridor, links southern Germany to the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan area, the Netherlands and Belgium via Cologne at speeds up to 300 km/h (190 mph).
