EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg (France)
EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg (BSL, MLH, EAP) is an international airport 6 km (3.7 mi) northwest of Basel (Switzerland), 22 km (14 mi) southeast of Mulhouse (France), and 70 km (43 mi) south of Freiburg (Germany). Frankfurt Airport Long-distance Train Station (Frankfurt Flughafen Fernbahnhof), linked to Terminal 1 by a connecting corridor, links southern Germany to the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan area, the Netherlands and Belgium via Cologne at speeds up to 300 km/h (190 mph). All ICE trains between Cologne and southern Germany stop at Frankfurt Airport and there are about 10 trains per hour departing in all directions.

An approximate 3-hour journey by car and 2-hour journey by train to Freiburg, Frankfurt's airport is a convenient hub.
