DMatrix is the first open platform specifically designed for developers to explore active-matrix digital microfluidics technology. DM lite 4K is the first core board of this platform. Along with active-matrix digital microfluidics chip AM4K, with 4096 individually controlled electrodes, each electrode can handle minutes liquid volumes as small as 25nL. In the future, DMatrix will support functional modules such as temperature control, magnetic manipulation advanced imaging and optical detection facilitating the development of digital microfluidics
