Micromachines (MDPI) and CBMS - Flash Presentation Award

The MicroTAS 2020 online conference is pleased to announce the Flash Presentation Award sponsored by MDPI Micromachines & the Chemical Biological Microsystems Society (CBMS) to recognize excellent poster presenters with flash presentations to advertise their posters in a dynamic and creative manner. Attributes of excellence include being original and highly informative; other attributes including being visually appealing and using humor may be appreciated as well.

All poster presenters are strongly encouraged to record a flash presentation consisting of a 45 to 60 second video. The idea of these flash presentations is to advertise the research reported on the poster, to attract attendees to the posters for discussion, and/or to provide complementary information that cannot be displayed in a traditional poster (videos, live experiments, etc.). These flash presentations will be streamed once at the beginning of the poster session to which a poster is scheduled, and they will remain available online throughout the entire conference to provide enough time to all attendees to view posters and enjoy the presentations at the time of their convenience.

The four awardees will be selected by all MicroTAS attendees that will be asked to vote for their favorite flash presentations.

The Winners will Receive

• A $500 Honorarium
• A commemorative Award Plaque
• Formal recognition on the last day of the meeting

Flash Presentation Award Selection Process

All attendees will have a chance to vote throughout the entire conference for their favorite flash presentation; the award recipients will be made known at the award ceremony at the end of the conference.
