Dear MicroTAS 2022 Conference Attendees,
Because of the impact of the recent COVID-19 epidemic and the requirements of the corresponding prevention policies, it is no longer possible to hold an in-person MicroTAS 2022 meeting in Hangzhou from October 23-27 as we originally planned. In the past few days, the conference organizing team have had deliberate discussions. Here, we regret to announce that the MicroTAS 2022 conference has all shifted to a virtual meeting mode, with no change in conference time. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused to the in-person conference attendees and exhibitors!
To ensure the smooth transition of the in-person part of the conference to virtual conference, the following arrangements have been made.
- The registration of all in-person participants will be modified by the organizer to remote form. The difference of the paid registration fee will be refunded, and the corresponding handling fee will be borne by the conference organizer.
- The conference organizer will help the in-person participants to contact the hotels for withdrawal of their reservation, and the paid reservation fee will be refunded at the original price, and the additional costs arising from this will be borne by the conference organizer.
- The participation form of exhibitors and sponsors will be modified according to their wishes and in accordance with the contractual agreement.
- All Plenary, Keynote, Oral and Poster presentations of MicroTAS 2022 will be conducted remotely. The Plenary, Keynote and Oral presenters will give their lectures via Zoom, and the Posters will be presented via Gather.town. The organizers will contact the presenters for related issue later.
If there is any question, please do not hesitate to contact us at any time.
We sincerely appreciate all the participants for your support to the conference! Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience caused by this change.
We look forward to seeing you in Hangzhou in the future!
