Palms Springs International Airport

Traveling to Palm Springs is easier than ever thanks to the recently renovated Palm Springs International Airport (PSP), located just minutes from downtown Palm Springs and the Convention Center. The airport is served by numerous carriers from major cities. All of the major car rental companies are available at this airport.

The Palm Springs International Airport is also served by Uber, Lyft and taxi companies such as Yellow Cab of the Desert (760-340-8294) and Desert City Cab (760-328-3000). The cost of a taxi from the Palm Springs International Airport to the Palm Springs Convention Center is approximately $12.00, while Uber and Lyft are approximately $9.00.

Alternative Airports
Other airport options include Ontario International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport. Both of these airports are approximately 1-2 hours driving time from Palm Springs, and you would need to rent a car or book a shuttle to get to Palm Springs.

Ontario International Airport

Another airport option is to fly in to Ontario International Airport (ONT), located approximately 70 miles west of the Palm Springs Convention Center in the center of Southern California. It is a medium-hub, full-service airport with commercial jet service to major U.S. cities and through service to many international destinations. All of the major car rental companies serve this airport.

Los Angeles International Airport

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) offers the greatest airline options and schedules. Just a 1.5 hour drive to Palm Springs, this airport is one of the busiest in the nation, with nearly every airline carrier is represented. All of the major car rental companies also serve this airport.

Palm Springs Ground Transportation

The BUZZ makes it convenient for residents and visitors to get around some of the city's most popular districts. Palm Springs' free trolley service operates Thursday - Saturday from 12pm - 10pm with shuttles arriving at each stop approximately every 20 minutes. The BUZZ travels in a loop from Smoketree Lane and East Palm Canyon Drive (near the Saguaro Hotel) to Via Escuela (near the Riviera Hotel)
